Canine influenza is a newly emerging infectious disease caused by a "flu" virus. In dogs, a highly contagious strain of the influenza A virus known as H3N8 is able to cause respiratory illness. Other strains of the influenza A virus are responsible for causing infections in birds, horses, pigs, and people. For more information go to our links page and click on canine influenza. All boarders will be charged for a full day of boarding on Sunday whether you drop off your pet or pick your pet up. You have until noon on the day you pick up before you will be charged for another full day of boarding.
SATURDAY BIRTHDAY PARTIES
We invite you and your pets to join us every second Saturday of the month from 12 pm - 2 pm, for our monthly birthday parties. Parties include a photo of your dog modeling our birthday hats, a doggie birthday cake snack, and a treat bag to take home! We will also provide refreshments and snacks for mom and dad! Kim Ruffner Earns Title of "Certified Kennel Operator"
The Pet Care Association is proud to add Kimberlee Ruffner, co-owner of Ruffner's Luxury Pet Boarding of St. Charles, to their list of Certified Kennel Operators. This accomplishment is based on Kim's knowledge of working with a vast variety of animals, as well as her ability to successfully run a boarding facility. Upon taking a number of written tests and participating in extensive interviews she was part of the 5% that successfully completed the program. This accomplishment and prestigous title puts Kim in a class above competitors because of the hard work and dedication she has proven in her practice.
Her staff would once again like to congratulate her for all the time and passion she put into preparing for, and earning her Certification for Kennel Operation.
